Run Now, Think Later

Kudos to you for eating all those plates full of “brain healthy” green leafy vegetables, but you may want to dash around the block a few times for an extra measure of protection. According to a study published in Lancet Neurology, people who exercise for 20 to 30 minutes at least twice a week during their 40s and 50s cut their risk for dementia and Alzheimer’s disease later in life by almost 50 percent. And those genetically predisposed toward Alzheimer’s may reduce their risk by about 60 percent. Now that’s reason enough to take “jog your memory” literally.
